EXP Realty Revenue Share Calculator
Personally, I can telI you that it’s been life-changing, but thought it would be helpful if I shared a few quick videos so you can see how the model works and what the income potential looks like for you and your family.
Before we get started, there are a few items to note:
1) eXp Realty revenue share is paid based on the GROSS commission earned by the agents you sponsor. I worked for another company that paid you based on the net profit of the company (after all expenses, bonuses and salaries were paid) and it was often difficult to understand and felt very unpredictable. With eXp, if an agent you’re sponsoring sells a home that generates $15,000 in GCI, you will make 3.5% of the gross – or $525. Simple, right?
2) You will receive revenue share for your sponsored agents until they hit their $16,000 annual commission cap with eXp Realty. Because the brokerage only receives $16K per agent per year, there is a limit to how much revenue they can “share” with the sponsors. 3) And the most important thing to note is that eXp Realty is SO MUCH MORE than revenue share. This real estate brokerage offers more benefits, tools and training than any other brokerage I know. Please note: The calculations in the video assumed that all the agents were “cappers” meaning that they reached their $16,000 commission cap $80K GCI) each year. Every agent in your revenue share group is not going to reach their cap each year, but in order to help you understand the maximum earning potential for each level of the revenue share plan, we used cappers to keep it as simple as possible.

My eXperience with eXp Revenue Share
When I first joined the brokerage in 2013, I brought my team of 11 agents with me. Because of this, I was able to immediately participate in the revenue share program. I earned enough that I was able to reinvest in my business and generate more leads for my team. Over the next year, I introduced a few more agents to the company and so did the agents on my team, so by the end of my first year, my rev share group was at about 30 people.
In my 2nd year, I reached out to a good friend of mine who was also a top-producing agent in the Austin area. For years we’d talked about creating an expansion team in her market and I thought it might be the perfect time. Long story short, she decided to join eXp Realty, along with about 15+ other agents in her brokerage – including the team leader! They grew very quickly and by the end of my 2nd year at eXp, I had over 100 agents in my revenue share group.
Fast forward to 2018… I’ve been with the company for about 5 years and have personally introduced about 29 agents to the company (including my team of 11 agents that joined eXp with me). I’m by no means a “recruiter” and everything has happened organically. Most of the agents who joined contacted me! Even though I’ve only introduced 29 agents to eXp, my revenue share group now has over 3,000 agents. It has been life-changing and my revenue share will easily exceed my real estate commissions this year.
Needless to say, my mindset and business have shifted now that I have a traditional real estate team AND a revenue share team. I’ve discovered that I truly enjoy coaching, training and helping them succeed. On a regular basis I work with my rev share group on everything from leveraging the amazing lead gen tools eXp provides to helping with their farming strategies and building their personal brand.
