First, a bit of background… my name is Kerry Lucasse and I’ve been a real estate agent in Atlanta, Georgia for the last 10+ years. I absolutely love what I do and have received numerous awards, been the Rookie of the Year, the #1 agent at my brokerage, created a large lead generation system/website and currently manage a team of about 23 agents.

I joined eXp Realty a little over a year ago with my team of 11 agents. After many years with Keller Williams and a then small boutique real estate brokerage, I can tell you that eXp is the perfect fit. Our team sales and transactions almost doubled from the previous year, as they encouraged me to build MY brand (not just promote the brokerage) and also supplied us with the support, training and tools that we were missing at our other firms. Now I know every brokerage thinks they have the best training and support (smile), so I thought it would be helpful to share a few examples:
Many of the agents on the team have been able to supplement their income with the free leads from the Kunversion lead generation site and are now hiring buyer’s agents to help them with the overflow! The first time I used the Seller lead system on Kunversion, I spend $34 in Facebook ads, received 21 home valuation requests which resulted in several listing appointments and one closed sale (so far).
Revenue Share is paid to any real estate agent or broker that has an active real estate license held by eXp Realty. It doesn’t matter if you have only been licensed for 1 month or 20 years. You can begin earning Revenue Share immediately. In most real estate brokerage models, a share of the earnings are only given to the broker-owner, franchise or regional manager, or paid recruiters and team leaders.
Because we are all stockholders in the company AND have a revenue share plan, everyone works together to make our agents a success. All of the new agents have sponsors and here in Atlanta, agents are assigned at least three people they can contact if they have questions — even at 8:00 pm.
After only a year with the company, I’m making the equivalent of one home sale per month in revenue share. Now many people cringe at the word “recruiting” but when your business is thriving, many agents are just naturally curious about what you are doing and want to be a part of it. As eXp expands around the country, more and more agents will be curious, so it’s a great opportunity for you to assist your fellow agents grow their businesses and start building your retirement fund!
The eXp Realty stock [EXPI] price has more than tripled! Because EXP agents are stockholders in the company and have several ways that they can be awarded stock, I’ve personally received 7,100 shares of “free” stock over the last year… and am a very proud owner in my brokerage!
We’ve had some amazing people join the company, including Brad Andersohn, the former Director of the Zillow University and Gene Frederick, a leader with Keller Williams Realty. Gene started with KW back in the late 1980s and was an owner of multiple offices from California to Texas. He loved the eXp Realty brokerage model so much, he sold all of his shares in KW and joined our firm. In less than 5 months, he’s attracted more than 70 top producing real estate agents to eXp Realty.
eXp Georgia has more than quadrupled in size. My real estate team has grown, not only with new agents, but in annual sales — up almost 45% from last year! Also, many of our brand new eXp agents are leveraging the training and tools offered and quite a few have been able to get clients in their car after only a few weeks in the business.
The level of service and new offerings from eXp continues to improve, with more staff on the transaction management team as well as the tech support team. I recently had an website issue at 11:00 pm, contacted them and they responded 10 MINUTES later. It didn’t even occur to me that I would receive a response that evening.
My team has been very focused on building “best practices” for the Kunversion lead generate website and have already had more than a dozen closings and many other buyers and sellers that we’re currently working with. As usual, I could keep going, but I just wanted to give you a quick update and let everyone know that I’m even more pleased with eXp Realty than I was a year ago!
