Over the last few years with eXp Realty, I’ve had quite a few real estate agents ask me about the revenue share program, including how it works… AND if it really works.Personally, I can telI you that it’s been life-changing, but thought it would be helpful if I shared a few quick videos so you can see how the model works and what the income potential looks like for you and your family.
Revenue share is paid based on the GROSS commission earned by agents you sponsor. Other brokerages may pay based on company net profit (after expenses, bonuses and salaries are paid), which is difficult to understand and predict. With eXp, if an agent you’re sponsoring sells a home that generates $15,000 in GCI, you will make 3.5% of the gross – or $525.
You will receive revenue share for your sponsored agents until they hit their $16,000 annual commission cap with eXp Realty. Because the brokerage only receives $16K per agent per year, there is a limit to how much revenue they can “share” with the sponsors. I earned enough that I was able to reinvest in my business and generate more leads for my team. Over the next year, I introduced a few more agents to the company and so did the agents on my team, so by the end of my first year, my revenue share group was at about 30 people.
