How You Are Paid
Revenue share is paid based on the GROSS commission earned by agents you sponsor. Other brokerages may pay based on company net profit (after expenses, bonuses and salaries are paid), which is difficult to understand and predict. With eXp, if an agent you’re sponsoring sells a home that generates $15,000 in GCI, you will make 3.5% of the gross – or $525.
How Much You Can Earn
You will receive revenue share for your sponsored agents until they hit their $16,000 annual commission cap with eXp Realty. Because the brokerage only receives $16K per agent per year, there is a limit to how much revenue they can “share” with the sponsors.
