The team at Building Better Agents really this AI headshot generator to the test. Below you’ll find three examples from our volunteers. Each submitted a variety of headshots.
In the first test, we only submitted professional headshots to Aragon AI, the next was a combination of professional and lower quality selfies, and the third was all lower quality selfie-style pictures. Can’t wait for you to see the results!
AI Headshot Test #1 | Leta Hyche
As you’ll see, Leta already has some amazing headshots, but because she’s very active on social media (@livelovelist), she likes to have a variety of photos to post and share in her marketing.
The Results: This AI headshot generator was the perfect solution for her! She now has 20+ new photos that she can use in her marketing. When we initially uploaded her pics, we were a bit worried that sharing multiple hairstyles would confuse the AI tool, but it didn’t. Test #2 | Kerry Lucasse (that’s me!)

Do the headshots look real?
Now, here’s the most critical part for us real estate agents – realism. If the end result looks fake, it’s a deal-breaker. I must say, Aragon AI’s Headshot Generator nailed it in this department.
At least 80% of the photos we received from Aragon looked very realistic, not AI generated. A majority of the headshots looked natural and authentic, and seamlessly blended with the unique background. The skin texture, lighting, and facial expressions looked genuine. This is something that can make or break a headshot, especially in a field where trust and credibility are paramount.
How Long Does it Take to Get My Headshots?
It only took about three minutes to upload the photos and answer a few short questions when getting started. After that, Aragon AI delivered the newly created headshots in less than an HOUR!

Are you able to customize your AI headshots?
Yes and no. When you upload your original photos, the AI tool will ask what industry you are in, gender preference and age. Your answer will determine the backgrounds and outfits selected by the tool. In our test examples, we selected “real estate” as the industry for Leta and Kerry. For Jon, we selected “conference speaker” and that seemed to dress him up quite a bit more. There were even a few in a black tuxedo!
FYI: If you choose the Basic or Premium package, Aragon does offer to do a “redo.”
Overall, our feedback on this headshot creator is VERY positive. As this AI technology gets more advanced, we would love to see some added features like being able to select outfit style, preferred colors or vertical / horizonal headshot options. But for now – and for the price — this is an incredible option for agents!
Tips to Get Started
We highly recommend finding at least a dozen photos you’d like to upload organized before starting the process. Aragon allows you to upload a minimum of six (6) pictures and a maximum of eight (8). The AI system may reject a few pics based on low resolution or backgrounds that are too similar. Here are a few more recommendations:
- Use varied backgrounds (this is a big one)
- Photos on different days in different lighting
- Look straight into the camera
- Only share photos with eyeglasses if you want them to be in your headshots
Be sure to avoid:
- Pictures with silly faces
- Group photos
- Blurry or low quality imagery
- No text or logos in pictures (i.e. on your shirt)
- No selfies from the car or bathroom mirror
