November is one of those months when real estate social media practically writes itself.
Between Thanksgiving, cooler weather, holiday traditions, local events, Small Business Saturday, and all the cozy things happening at home, there are so many natural opportunities to connect with your audience without talking about real estate every five minutes.
And after more than 20 years in real estate, I’ve learned that November is definitely not the month to disappear.
Yes, things may feel quieter. People are traveling, hosting family, shopping, and getting ready for the holidays. But the buyers and sellers who are making a move this time of year often have a real reason for doing it. And meanwhile, plenty of other people are quietly thinking, “Maybe next year is the year we finally move.”
That’s why I like November content that feels less like marketing and more like staying connected.
Share your favorite local businesses. Talk about Thanksgiving traditions. Give homeowners something useful. Show a little personality. And sprinkle in enough real estate content to remind everyone what you do.
To make it even easier, I’ve written the posts for you.
Here are 25 November social media posts for Realtors that you can copy, personalize, and post.

November Strategy Tip for Real Estate Agents
November is one month when I would intentionally make your social media more personal and community-focused than sales-focused.
People aren’t opening Instagram the week of Thanksgiving hoping to see another “JUST LISTED!” graphic.
They’re looking at recipes. They’re figuring out where to take visiting family. They’re shopping. They’re sharing traditions, laughing at holiday chaos, and thinking about everything they have to get done before December.
Meet them there.
Share the local restaurant. Recommend the bakery making incredible pies. Spotlight a small business. Show your Thanksgiving prep. Ask about family traditions. Make people laugh.
Then weave in the real estate content naturally.
A November market update, a post about selling before the holidays, a buyer tip, and a reminder for people considering a move next year are plenty to reinforce what you do without making your feed feel like a sales pitch.
5 Easy November Reel Ideas for Realtors
1. “POV: You’re a Realtor the Week of Thanksgiving”
Coffee, showing, grocery pickup, answering emails, another showing, pie, laptop. Done.
2. “3 Things to Do If You Want to Sell Next Spring”
Give homeowners three things they can start doing now rather than waiting until March.
3. “Things Buyers Suddenly Notice in November”
Fireplaces, heating systems, garages, mudrooms, natural light, drafts around windows, and where they’re going to put the Christmas tree.
4. “Come With Me on a Cozy Fall Showing”
This one barely needs narration. Film a beautiful entry, kitchen, fireplace, backyard, and neighborhood covered in late-fall leaves.
5. “Things Realtors Are Thankful For”
Serious buyers. Sellers who declutter. Fresh coffee. Easy-to-open lockboxes. Inspectors who answer their phones. Clients who don’t fall in love with the first house before you’ve even unlocked the door. 😂

Make Small Business Saturday a Bigger Deal
If I were planning a November content calendar for my real estate business, Small Business Saturday would absolutely be on it.
Local-business content is some of the easiest content for real estate agents to create because it does several jobs at once.
It supports another business owner. It gives your followers useful local recommendations. It positions you as someone who actually knows your community. And it gives the business you’re featuring a reason to share your post with their audience.
Don’t limit yourself to one post, either.
You could spend the entire week leading up to Small Business Saturday highlighting a favorite coffee shop, restaurant, boutique, bakery, home decor store, florist, or other locally owned business.
And be sure to tag them.
That’s social media actually being social, which is something we sometimes forget when we’re busy trying to market ourselves.
Why November Social Media Matters for Realtors
November can feel like the beginning of the end of the real estate year.
I don’t think that’s the best way to look at it.
Yes, some people mentally check out until January. But that’s exactly why continuing to show up can be so valuable.
You have serious buyers and sellers who still need to make a move before the end of the year. Past clients are gathering with friends and family — which means your name can come up in conversations and referrals. And homeowners who have been saying “maybe next year” are suddenly realizing that next year is only a few weeks away.
The work you do in November isn’t just about finding a November client.
It’s also about making sure that when someone decides in January, February, or March that they’re finally ready to make a move, you’re the agent they remember.
Free November Real Estate Social Media Images
And because figuring out what to say is only half the battle, I’ve also created a collection of free November social media images for real estate agents that you can use with several of these posts.
No need to hunt through stock photography or spend an hour designing graphics. Find an image you like, save it, pair it with one of the captions above, add your own local details, and post.
How to Save the Images
On your phone: Tap and hold the image, then select Save to Photos or Save Image.
On your computer: Right-click the image and select Save Image As.
Feel free to use these images on your real estate social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, and your Instagram or Facebook Stories.
Make These November Posts Your Own
As with the October social media posts, I’d treat these captions as a starting point rather than something you have to copy word for word.
Replace [CITY], [BUSINESS], [EVENT], and the other placeholders with information that’s actually relevant to your community. Add your opinions. Mention your favorite restaurant. Tell the funny Thanksgiving story. Change my wording if it doesn’t sound like you.
The easier and more natural your content feels to create, the more likely you are to actually keep posting.
And that’s really the goal.
You don’t need to become a full-time content creator. You just need to keep showing up often enough that when someone in your sphere thinks real estate, they think of you.
Happy November!
So thankful for all of you.
